About Our Club

Hyson Green Community Action was started by two local residents after hearing from others who shared the same frustration — especially around fly-tipping, street mess, and how often our area gets ignored.

We’re just getting going, but we’re not alone. Many residents have spoken up and shown they care too.

This website is a starting point — a way to highlight what’s already happening in Hyson Green and invite others to join in. Whether it's sharing ideas, connecting with local groups, or simply staying in the loop, we’re here to grow something positive together.

We’re now welcoming volunteers who want to make a difference in Hyson Green. If you’d like to get involved, you can fill out our volunteer interest form below, follow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates, or simply drop us a message if you have ideas, skills, or just want to help out. Whether you can give a little time or a lot, we’d love to hear from you. This is a community effort — and it works best when we build it together.

We’re still growing as a community group, so at the moment we’re focused on building up funding and support to host our own events in the future. For now, we promote and support events already happening in the area — like the monthly litter picks led by one of our local Clean Champion residents. As we grow, we hope to organise more of our own community-led activities and projects right here in Hyson Green.
